Matt knew he had an interest in finance at a young age. While attending middle school in Cheshire Connecticut, he participated in a “stock market game” where he managed fantasy stocks, bonds, mutual funds and commodities. Matt was able to model a “winning” portfolio.Matt says jokingly, “that’s where it all started”. He knew back then that he would one day increase his understanding of economic and financial concepts to lay the groundwork for a successful career in the financial industry.
Looking to strengthen his knowledge in this field Matt earned a BBA in Marketing and Finance from the Zarb School of Business, Hofstra University, Long Island, NY. In May 2008 while obtaining his degree, he worked as a personal trainer at North Shore Fitness in East Meadow. Strengthening his financial knowledge is not all Matt works on as he still enjoys weight training and is a Life Loyal Delta Chi Member focusing on developing professional relationships.
Shortly after graduation from Hofstra University, Matt began his financial services career with Equitable Advisors, putting his love of finance and investments to use helping individuals, families, and business owners achieve their financial goals
Always wanting to do more for his friends, alliances, and clients he joined Equinox Financial Partners in March 2013. He knew working with a team of professionals he could bring the best resources possible to his clients.
Matt holds a Series 7 and Series 66 registrations, and Life, Accident and Health insurance licensing and still resides on Long Island where he works out daily.
