Mark began his career in the Financial services industry in 1998. Mark has focused his practice on a multi-disciplined approach covering the spectrum of insurance and financial products.
After graduating from George Washington University in 1983, Mark became a teaching Tennis Professional at several prestigious local country clubs and tennis centers including Middle Bay Country Club in Oceanside and Seawane Country Club in Hewlett as well as the Yacht club in Port Washington and the Roslyn Tennis Center on the North Shore of Long Island
It was on the courts that he met an enthusiastic student who introduced him to the world of insurance and financial products. Mark was hooked right away as he realized he could help, teach and guide people about how to navigate the complex nature of imperative financial and retirement planning.
He has advised thousands of clients over the years with respect to retirement planning, life Insurance solutions, annuities, as well as long term care and health Insurance. Mark Feels that his passion for teaching and educating translates perfectly in advising his valued clients, large and small, in the proper planning techniques for the best possible current lifestyle and as smooth as possible transition to Retirement.
Mark has been the recipient of many awards over his long career including, most recently, the Centurion awards at Equitable as well as National Leaders Forum and new Equitable Associate of the year in 2014.
Mark brings to Equinox a specialty in Medicare and senior needs planning that is a vital component in the firms desire to provide the most comprehensive services to our clientele.
He believes his knowledge in these senior market fields, including but not limited to Medicare Supplement/Medigap, Medicare Advantage Plans and Part D drug cards enable him to provide insight to our new and existing clients pertaining to an increasingly important and complex arena.
He is a frequent lecturer on the Medicare topics and suite of products helping educate our clients and audiences throughout Nassau, Suffolk and NYC about the important choices and options as they enter the Medicare Universe.
