Kevin Peters is seasoned in serving the needs of individuals, professionals, and business owners with a special emphasis on entertainers and professional athletes.
As a financial professional since 1994, Kevin has dedicated himself to helping to make a difference in the lives of clients. He believes his job is to listen to client needs and objectives and design a financial plan, taking into consideration client risk tolerance and time horizon, to help them work toward their financial goals. He prides himself on the long-term relationships he establishes with clients and the level of service he offers to them.
For the professional athlete and entertainer, Kevin combines his experience in risk and wealth management with his general understanding of player/entertainer's complex financial situations, to develop financial strategies designed to help them meet their short and long-term goals.
Having attended the University of South Carolina, Kevin graduated in 1993 with a Bachelors Degree. Dedicated to academics and continuing his education, he has taken numerous courses and has earned the title LUTCF from the Life Underwriters Training Counsel for demonstrating his proficiency and understanding the complexities of insurance.
In recognition of his outstanding performance, Kevin has received many awards from Equitable Advisors including the Centurion and Circle of Excellence recognitions. Additionally, he is a perennial member of the Million Dollar Round Table. MDRT members demonstrate exceptional professional knowledge, strict ethical conduct, outstanding client service and specific life insurance sales levels.
Kevin joined Equinox Financial Partners in January of 2011 to help build a Sports and Entertainment division for the firm. He believes his knowledge and over 20 years of experience in this specific market is a true asset to the firm as well as his clientele.
