
Ken began his career in the financial services industry in 1983 following his graduation from the business school Washington University in St. Louis, MO, with a BSBA, where he worked with the Wall Street brokerage firm, McLaughlin, Piven & Vogel, Inc. In 1985 he joined New York Life where he helped clientele with comprehensive financial planning. In 1991 Ken earned his CFP® designation. Thereafter he became Vice President of Time Capital Investor Advisory Services, Inc., where he created and managed the “Fee for Services” Financial Planning Department.
With over 25 years in the financial services industry Ken is proud to be a member of the Financial Planning Association. He has sat on the Board of Directors of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Metro New York, where he was instrumental in the creation of the organization’s Planned Giving Department.
As a public speaker, Ken conducts financial planning seminars at local colleges and has been a lecturer for accountants and other business professionals in the financial industry. He has spoken at Molloy College, C.W. Post, Hofstra University, Institute of Management Accountants, Network of Accountants, Queensborough Community College and at Pennington & Associates Estate and Tax Planning Retreats.
Ken has been quoted in local newspapers such as Newsday, and in industry publications such as Financial Planner magazine, “Ed Slott’s IRA Advisor” newsletter, and Adriane Berg’s “Wealthbuilder” newsletter. Interviews of Ken have been broadcast on local Radio (WABC NY) and Cable TV (METRO NY).
Ken is proud to be a Rotarian. He lives by the Rotary Motto “Service Above Self.” He is Past President of his local Rotary Club where he currently serves as Chair of the Membership Committee. In the past he has served as Director of Community Services and he has been active in the Rotary Youth Exchange Program (YEP). He and his family have hosted two exchange students. Ken and his wife of 25 years reside in Woodbury, New York.
