Joseph graduated Queens College as a genetic engineer but soon became interested in financial planning. He began his practice in 1996 and began his studies at New York University’s financial planning program offered by MetLife. While with MetLife Resources, he concentrated in pension, financial and retirement planning for small businesses, institutional Health Care and Non-Profit organizations. While at Met Life Joseph was a qualifying member of the prestigious organization of The Million Dollar Round Table and achieved many Leaders and President conference awards.
With his native language of Mandarin, Joseph can connect with and better understand the needs of his ethnically diverse individual and business clients. In his spare time, he gives back to his community involving himself in various Chinese services. Joseph served many years as the Principal of the Chinese School and was the head organizer for many cultural related Chinese community events.
Realizing that the world is rapidly changing, financial products are becoming more complex, and clients need advanced planning strategies, Joseph joined Equinox Financial Partners in 2018. This new venture has allowed Joseph to better serve the needs of his current and future clients.
